2nd Central Land Council WELL project 2011 - 2012

The Central Land Council (CLC) Workplace English Language and Literacy (WELL) project has gone into its second year. The program is funded by the Department of Education, Employment and Workplace Relations (DEEWR) and by the Central Land Council. We are currently servicing 55 rangers across 7 remote communities with individual and group sessions in Literacy and Numeracy to raise their capabilities in the workplace. Training is tailored to the workplace and to the individual’s needs. Sessions are delivered on rostered days and times which work well for the workplace and schedules that are already in place. We have employed highly motivated and knowledgeable staff to service the contract. We have 1 full time employee rotating between 3 communities (Tjuwanpa, Yuendumu and Ti Tree) as well as 3 part time employees who are servicing 1 community each (Tennant Creek, Santa Teresa and Docker River). Lajamanu is serviced 6 times a year for a one week block by an available trainer. Please contact us if you would like more information on WELL programs that could suit your workplace.
