Central Desert Training provides both group and individual mentoring sessions to support the professional development and retention of your employees. We are able to provide both structured and unstructured mentoring solutions for your organisation. Where structured mentoring solutions are applied, the details of group and individual contacts are recorded on weekly mentoring contact sheets to track the number of sessions held to support your staff. Where individual sessions are held these are recorded on separate forms and which remain strictly provate and confidential. Each individual session is tracked against the ACSF (Australian Core Skills Framework) as the reporting benchmark and to measure mentee progress. The ACSF is the same measurement tool used in the student selection process prior to course commencement. Continual measurement against the ACSF over the duration of the project allows for individual progress to be accurately tracked for the life of the mentoring project. As the mentoring program becomes cemented into your organisation procedures are flexible enough to be adapted and modified to accommodate the specific needs of your staff. This ensures your organisation and staff receive the maximum benefits available from mentoring including maximising the transfer of high level skills and knowledge between existing and new staff, increasing staff retention and addressing gaps in skills and knowledge through targeted intensive training sessions by expert mentors in all range of disciplines. As a IEP panel member we are able to support your organisation in developing a mentoring solution that may be able to access federal government funding to cover the entire cost of the mentoring programme.
